Create your account — a tenant and admin user are provisioned together in one step. Then complete your business profile (legal name, GSTIN, address). Invite your team and assign roles: Campaign Manager for marketing staff.
Indian regulations require SMS businesses to register on the DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) system. On Gluck, you register your Principal Entity, add Sender Headers (6-character alphanumeric IDs like ZARAFN), and submit SMS Templates for DLT approval. Without an approved sender header and template, campaigns cannot be launched.
Create contacts individually or in bulk. Phone numbers are automatically normalised to E.164 format (+91XXXXXXXXXX). Organise contacts into named groups — "All Customers", "VIP Members", "This Week Appointments". Contacts who have unsubscribed are automatically flagged and excluded from future campaigns.
Gluck uses a prepaid wallet model — you load funds before sending campaigns. Create a payment order, complete it, and the verified amount is instantly credited. At campaign launch, the estimated cost is reserved from your wallet. After each SMS is sent, the exact charge is debited. Failed or cancelled messages are refunded. Every transaction is recorded in an immutable ledger.
Create a campaign in DRAFT status — pick your DLT-approved template, select your sender header, and choose recipients by group or individual contacts. Review the estimated cost against your wallet balance. Hit Launch — the API reserves your funds, enqueues the campaign job, and returns immediately. As the SMS provider delivers messages, delivery reports flow back via webhook. Each report updates the SMS message from SENT → DELIVERED, UNDELIVERED, or FAILED. Campaign counters (totalDelivered, totalFailed) update in real time. The Reports section shows delivery rate, failure analysis, cost breakdown, and timeline. Export everything as CSV.
